PRESIDENT’S LETTER

Dear fellow members,

September brings a welcome shift in rhythm to the Club. As we settle back into familiar routines, the Club comes alive with opportunities to reconnect, entertain, and enjoy all that the fall season brings.

Before looking forward, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to all members who have referred friends, family members, colleagues, and business associates to Terminal City Club throughout the summer. Many of our newest members join because of a personal recommendation, and there is no greater endorsement of the Club than one that comes from an existing member. Your referrals help strengthen our community and ensure that the Club continues to thrive for generations to come.

As we enter the fall, your Board and Management continue to focus on the priorities we have discussed throughout the year from strengthening the member experience to investing thoughtfully in our spaces and programming. The goal is to ensure that the Club continues to evolve to meet the needs of our membership. The strong engagement we have seen this year from our wellness offerings to social and business programming provides valuable direction as we continue this work.

As this quarter comes to a close, so does our popular pizza pop-up series, with three final evenings on the Grill patio on September 1, 15, and 29. It’s the perfect excuse to gather with friends and colleagues and enjoy fresh, handcrafted pizzas and a couple glasses of wine on one of the best patios in the city.

September also brings the return of one of our most anticipated seasonal celebrations: Oktoberfest on Friday, September 25. Dust off your dirndl and lederhosen and join fellow members for great food, festive beverages, and an atmosphere that captures the spirit of this beloved tradition. Whether you’re a longtime enthusiast or attending for the first time, it’s sure to be a memorable occasion.

If laughter is more your style, be sure to reserve your spot for Comedy Night on September 17, hosted by Ryan Williams and featuring sets by Myles Anderson, and headliner Kim McVicar. Settle in early for dinner and some pre-show magic by prodigious talent Blake Aleong. We are excited to welcome such an outstanding lineup to the Club for what promises to be an unforgettable night of entertainment.

Tickets go on sale this month for our highly anticipated Annual Gala on Saturday, November 7. The Club will be transformed into a whimsical world inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Affair promises an immersive evening of imagination and surprise, with intriguing décor, exceptional food and beverage experiences, and revelry. Signature events like this showcase the creativity of our team and the strength of our Club community, and I encourage you to step through the looking glass and join us.

As always, thank you for your continued engagement and support. The energy and participation of our members continue to be at the heart of what makes Terminal City Club special. As we begin another busy fall, I encourage you to stay engaged, share your ideas, and continue to make the most of your Club.

I look forward to seeing you around the Club this fall.

My best regards,

Pierre Pelletier
President, Terminal City Club
