TCC Salons

Member-led discussion group.

The TCC Salon (6–9 p.m.) is a twice-a-month discussion group held over dinner and facilitated by an expert, usually drawn from academia.

To promote informal but in-depth dialogue, the gathering is limited to about a dozen participants.

After introductions, the speaker will give a brief overview of the topic (typically not business focused) before opening the floor. Dinner guests would engage in the conversation as a single group: one person speaks at a time and the entire table listens. Thoughts are shared and stories told, often resulting in a deeper connection for all.

Historically, salons have been important spaces for the exchange of ideas, flourishing during the literary and philosophical movements of 17th and 18th century France.

These TCC dinner salons are organized by member Victor Chan, a writer.
