45 Day Challenge

Need a goal for 2015? For the months of January and February, the Fitness Centre is challenging Members to commit to a minimum of 45 workouts in 57 days. Members can choose any type of exercise; cardio, weight-training, squash, swimming, yoga or jog outside, as long as all the exercises takes place at the Club or on your travels. This assessment is a safe and informative approach to measuring the major components of fitness. Based on the fitness test results from this comprehensive and standardized assessment, an appropriate and personalized exercise program can be prescribed, goals set and improvement measured after health promotion initiatives are undertaken.

FREE 30 MINUTE F.I.T. CLASS (Wednesdays)

Wednesday, January 14 – February 18 (5:15 – 5:45 p.m.)
F.I.T. stands for Full-Body Intensity Training. This 30 minute high energy fitness class is perfect for busy members who want to burn calories, increase cardiovascular endurance, gain muscle tone and improve energy levels. Cost: Free
Members must sign up in advance for each session – space is limited.


Tuesday, January 13 – February 17 (5:15 – 6:15 p.m.)
Get ready to start the New Year right with this all-encompassing fitness boot camp. We will work your total body in 60 minutes, from cardio and strength to balance and coordination. This all-levels class will challenge your individual fitness level by taking you through a variety of exercises in an interval circuit style. This boot camp is guaranteed to get you sweating and having a great time! Cost: $90 + GST

Complimentary Jumpstart Squash Series

New Year’s Series
January 7 | 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. (Men)
January 14 | 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. (Ladies)
The “Jumpstart Squash Series” offers a free squash clinics that provide a variety of game strategies and tactics, teaching of proper technique, and includes “game-like” fitness exercises.
Participants/members can follow-up with further group lessons, and/or private and partner lessons.

On the second Wednesday of every month, TCC will be offering a complimentary beginners squash clinic.
