July Promotion: Baseline Fitness Assessment


The Baseline Fitness Assessment is a safe and informative approach to measuring the major components of fitness. Before embarking on a new exercise program, it’s always a good idea to know where your starting point is. Based on the fitness test results from this comprehensive and standardized assessment, an appropriate and personalized exercise program can be prescribed, goals set and improvement measured after health promotion initiatives are undertaken. The Baseline Fitness Assessment will be safely administered by a CITAHEALTH Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP), the highest and most advanced designation available in the health and fitness industry in Canada.

90 minute assessment includes:
• Detailed health risk analysis
• Resting and exercise blood pressure and heart rate monitoring
• Aerobic/Cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2 Max)
• Musculoskeletal fitness and endurance
• Flexibility
• Back fitness
• Body composition / Anthropometric measures
