We are approaching the end of our third fiscal quarter for this year, and I am pleased to report that our results continue to be steady and on-track. Your Board of Directors and the Club’s management team have been actively engaged in looking ahead.
The summer months always offer an array of memorable ways to take advantage of your membership. First up is the official opening of our newly established Fitness Centre patio. This beautiful space has been set with lounge furniture and landscaping that enhances the already spectacular views. You and your guests can now relax and enjoy a drink, shareable snacks, or a light meal in this incredible space.
On Saturday, June 4, we are proud to welcome back Zajac Nights for the second year. Their incredible “A World in a Night” event is not to be missed – it is an experience second to none. And of course, all proceeds from the event and silent auction will support the Zajac Ranch for Children. (Note that The Grill will be closed on this date, and the Fitness Centre will close at 4 p.m.)
Our fabulous Slide into Summer event kicks off “100 Days of Summer” here at the Club. This year’s Slide is scheduled for Thursday, June 23 and will once again feature the member perk “Cellar Sale.” Watch for more details to come.
While I recognize the fun and significance of elaborate evenings such as these, I also hope that you will take advantage of the variety of regularly scheduled events happening at the Club throughout the spring and summer. Events like our wine tastings (although the past three have had more than 100 members each, so perhaps you’ve all got that one figured out!), discussion groups, and summer classes in the Fitness Centre (a result of feedback from our Member Survey). If you are not familiar with these offerings, or have questions about any of the Club’s ongoing events, please reach out to Member Services. One of our staff will be happy to help you make the most of your membership.
Looking far forward, this year’s TCC Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, July 21 at Morgan Creek Golf Course, in cooperation with the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation. But the date only feels a long way off – it will be here in a flash. Don’t miss this perfect opportunity to gather your staff, clients, or friends for a wonderful day of golf including lunch, buffet dinner, and prizes throughout the day.

Dress Code: Smart Casual
Unless otherwise specified, all areas of the Club, including the Grill Room, 1892, Cuvée Wine Bar, patios and private function rooms have a dress code of smart casual. Smart casual attire includes collared or turtle neck shirts, golf or knee length shorts, and dress pants. Similar attire is required for ladies. Denim is acceptable provided a collared shirt is worn and denim is of a solid colour with no fading, tears or patches.
All footwear is to be clean and smart. Casual thong footwear is not permitted outside of the fitness centre.
