Tell us a little about yourself and your work
I’m a Makeup & Hair Artist and Personal Style Consultant. My philosophy has always been, ‘it’s not about wearing tons of makeup, it’s about wearing it correctly’. I take pride in each and every application I do, and it’s a priority to create a memorable experience for each of my clients. After all makeup is fun, and what woman doesn’t love looking her best!
What do you love about weddings?
I am doing something I am passionate about, but it’s a pretty amazing feeling and honor to be a part of someone’s most important day in their life. I feel like a mom waving to her kids as they get on the bus to their first day of school, as I put the final lipstick strokes and send her off to the ceremony. A bride is at her most vulnerable state just before she leaves to go say ‘I do’, and I take pride in knowing I got to spend the morning with her and those last few moments.
Do you have a favourite memory from working at Terminal City Club?
All of my time spent with TCC is among my favourite! Being a part of the 1st Annual HUSH was very exciting! I love doing the makeup & hair live on the floor as guests mingle and watch. The vendors are top notch and everyone at TCC is so professional and it’s a very well put on event. I’m proud to be coming back for my 3rd year in a row!
Can you give us any hints of what you will be bringing to Hush?
When I do makeup & hair for an event like this one, I like to bring styles that are trendy, but also styles that are approachable. I like to appeal to all brides. Most importantly that I can help them achieve any look they want!
What wedding planning tip would you give to an engaged couple?
Don’t leave booking your makeup artist until the last minute…we fill up fast! Haha!
I always tell my clients to do what makes ‘them’ happy, and have fun! Don’t worry about trying to please everyone. Wedding planning has enough stresses…try to have fun, and work with professional vendors like the ones at this year’s HUSH!
Lastly, just for fun, what is something that not many people know about you?
I was a Fine Wine & Spirits Representative in my previous career for 8 yrs, and when it comes to expensive wines and very old scotches…I know my stuff!
I’ve traveled all over U.S., Europe and Australia to sip and savour with the best of the best!

Dress Code: Smart Casual
Unless otherwise specified, all areas of the Club, including the Grill Room, 1892, Cuvée Wine Bar, patios and private function rooms have a dress code of smart casual. Smart casual attire includes collared or turtle neck shirts, golf or knee length shorts, and dress pants. Similar attire is required for ladies. Denim is acceptable provided a collared shirt is worn and denim is of a solid colour with no fading, tears or patches.
All footwear is to be clean and smart. Casual thong footwear is not permitted outside of the fitness centre.
